Playa Azalea - Samal Island, Davao City

It was just one of those random moments that I wanted to go to the beach, or to a pool side for a swim since the weather was screaming with so much anger of HEAT, "we" planned and decided on a trip this was days before I even had this feeling.

So "we" actually planned to go to Playa Azalea, or "Azalea" as what it is know for. This is in Samal Island in Davao City.

It's definitely a great place to be in. When you want a great view of Davao City while swimming, they have an infinity pool that overlooks the beach front down below, and right away you can see the breathtaking and captivating view of the City, you will really enjoy the view while you relax, or even just be alone and meditate, "hey they even played Bossanova music - it was very soothing".

The view from the left side of their infinity pool.

Actual photo, took it from the site

Azalea actually has 2 phases, the one we were on is in Phase 1, which has the infinity pool and the kids pool. And the other one had a small squared design for a  pool which can roughly fit about 10-20 people. The view from phase 2 was even better, since you were really up/elevated. Technically, there was not much on Phase 2 yet, but, you gotta give some love because of the view.

The beach on the other hand so far was okay...

When we arrived there, the water did not even reach the shoreline (low-tide), It  was really a sultry morning as the Hot sea breeze caressed her skin.

That's why we had to decide to stay in the pool "which was not a bad idea".

Between air and water :)
I personally, am not a beach person, heck, I don't even like those blanket heat rays caressing my body, or just the thought of having bundles of sweat dripping, (they say its healthy) but if it's too much heat and sweat, id think twice.

But with this magnificent view, and not much people to share with, I really have some thoughts to battle.

Disclaimer: you are not allowed to go in if you are notproperty owner or, if you're not with someone who owns a property, may it be from Phase 1 or 2.

NO OVERNIGHT stay!!! not unless if the property owner already has a house built.

Day Trip is advised if you plan to go to Azalea.

NO entrance fees they just ask for the property owners name.

So far I really enjoyed a lot. Amenities are also good, and since this is a private area, they really kept it very clean, and thats a plus!

Also, I for one am a Bathroom OC, I always look at the Bathroom first. So far, it was amazing. The only thing I don't like and have to comment about though is, when you take a shower the water coming out was really slow, it defeats the purpose of having a humongous shower head when the water coming out is just as small as a water hose. Besides that, everything was perfect.

The place was good and knowing that you're with someone special whom you can share it with, may it be a friend or a family member. "I was just lucky enough mine had to be a property owner" just always remember, great memories lasts for a Lifetime.

,,and this would be, one of the trips I will never regret doing all over again.
